Karl & Claire chose to get married outdoors in the Woodlands section of Hothorpe which was exclusive to them and their guests including guest accommodations and a magnificent treehouse for the Bride and Groom to stay in on their first night as Mr & Mrs.
Due to Covid, they weren’t originally planning to get married at Hothorpe but it certainly was a stunning venue. Being surrounded by fields gave us a fabulous opportunity for some varied shots.
I had my second shooter Adam with me for the day and he shot the Groom Prep and managed to get some great shots of the Groom and his Groomsmen.
Claire & Karl chose an ‘Up’ theme which ran throughout their day including on Claire’s bouquet and in their table decorations.
They had a bouncy castle that was enjoyed probably more by the adults than the kids!
Instead of cutting a cake, the Bride and Groom brought doughnuts for everyone and we were able to some shots by the fire of them tucking into the doughnuts.
There was lots of partying and dancing and some of the guys changed into Hawaiian shirts to get more comfortable on the dance floor.
Congratulations Claire & Karl!
I also did Claire & Karl’s engagement photo shoot with their dog Waffle which you can see some of here
